I am definitely intrigued... has anyone here used this? Would you recommend? The reviews are very good so it seems many do enjoy this item!
 
I haven't used this before but I did buy the cheaper model, the Anova Precision Cooker for 154.00 for Mother's Day, which is now on sale for 129.00 for Father's Day. But $100.00 for this Anova Sous Vide Immersion Circulator Cooker is hands down a great deal. I'm returning the Precision Cooker and buying the Immersion Circulator. Thanks for posting this! I got the Modernist Cuisine at Home cookbook last year and have been wanting an Immersion Circulator since then. At $100, this seems like a steal.
 
I've never seen anything like this before. It looks very interesting, but there's something about cooking in plastic bags that just doesn't sit well with me :-/
 
It was a killer deal! I already have the less expensive but bought this one.
 
Happy Holidays all. The precision cooker is freaking amazing. My chicken breasts are super moist to the point where we no longer eat out. The steaks are perfect and I even sous vide my briskets prior to smoking. There are plenty of sites online to guide you through the process. Hands down this is the best kitchen gadget I have ever owned. You can use with zip log bags, but I purchased a vacuum sealer to for maximum efficiency.
