Guest - 7 months ago I produce video for a large company, and up to now SD was adequate, but now Blu-Ray players are showing up in the conference rooms, so it's time to grow. I wish I had been shooting HD all this time (better SD source and larger wmv videos if nothing else). This burner is for me personally, though, and it looks like a good deal.

You still rockin' your Walkman cassette player and VHS movies?
Players and movies are both as cheap as DVDs, no reason not to switch.
I only have time to watch maybe 1-2 hours of TV/movies/games per week. Why switch when Netflix serves my needs?
