It knows if you have it on more than one computer & it works on those computers only as a trial.
Come on, just try the trial, its the same thing & free. Paying gets you a few things. Some programs put things in your registry that say your computer is clean & it can find these things & clean.

These are meant to be installed on one computer only. For the price, it is absolutely worth it. (Even for $24.95, it is worth it since the license doesn't need to be renewed at all.)

MBAM is probably one of the best malware programs. It's not an AV but it has some of the best detection rates. You would be hard pressed to find an actual 'virus' these days. Most malware are trojans and rootkits. MBAM finds these malware easily.

This works in conjunction with Windows Defender, or Security Essentials, or any other anti-virus program. NOTE: This is NOT an anti-virus program so you will still need anti-virus as well.
It is completely worth the cost and I have sold it to several clients as well as use it with my server and other office computers. It will actively block the computer from connecting to malicious Web sites, whereas other anti-virus programs still allow the connection. (And if you use any type of peer-to-peer program, it will actively block known malicious peer connections too!)
I just purchased four for my clients.
EDIT: Just noticed it added four AVG Anti-Virus 2012 as well. This was an awesome deal!

It is worth it. You get a live scanner vs a manual scanner. $12 for the best Malware remover is worth it. Buying 5 for my clients.

The purchased version gives you live real time protection. Windows Defender cannot compare to MB, nor can most malware removal programs.

It is a trial + serial nbr. So just get the trial online & try it. I bought it once, but there is not a lot you get paying for it vs. free.
