flybynight 04-12-2005, 04:05 AM will this be in combination with the instant savings they have going on rite now?
Mic2470 04-12-2005, 04:20 AM For what Inspirons is that coupon good for? All of them or just a specific line?
nolaff 04-12-2005, 05:57 AM I couldn't find an Inspiron laptops that cost $1499. Am I looking in the wrong place? I have a brother in Iraq right now, do you think he could game with any of these?
douglasfir 04-12-2005, 06:36 AM Follow this link to dell.
http://configure.us.dell.com/dellstore/config.aspx?c=us&cs=04&kc=6W300&l=en&oc=i9300sapp&s=bsd
I "customized" a system that would run you about $1,700 which after half off would be $850.00 that would be an excellent gaming system. Just remember to not cut corners on memory (512 mb minimum) and think about a larger hard drive and battery upgrades...
Other than that their basic system is fine.
:claps:
zero_5 04-12-2005, 06:48 AM I bought this last time, and the coupon should void all instant savings that dell is currently running. So make sure it says $1500 "before" savings, not "after" for the coupon to work.

the coupon is 750 off 1499 not half off!
douglasfir 04-12-2005, 09:22 AM That is completely correct! Im sorry if I didn't make that clearer...
$1,499 is the minimum to spend before getting the $750 off........
I got my wife the new ultra lightweight slim one on that last offer...I think the 600 m....
Now its like crazy cheap so you'd have to add a lot of stuff to get it up to the $1,499....
Dr-roadking 04-12-2005, 10:37 AM :)
I bought the inspiron 900 last time to play games. I does not play doom 3. It plays half life pretty well with an occassional lock up. Make sure you get the best video card and alot of memory. Don't forget the wireless g card. You can'y upgrade the video card later ( that is what Dell told me). Also the 900 series laptop is big and heavy. If they run out of ammo they can toss the laptop as a weapon.
revert 04-12-2005, 11:39 AM Is this deal for Small business only or home users?

$1700 minus $750 is $950...
Mic2470 04-12-2005, 01:14 PM Does anyone know if you will be able to apply this coupon to an Inspiron 700m? Also, if the instant savings is void once you apply the coupon, will the free shipping be voided too.
hybridone 04-12-2005, 01:14 PM So this is for any Inspiron with final cost over $1499 correct?
douglasfir 04-12-2005, 02:53 PM Yes it was $950....Sorry I was going by something I had configured for my wifes system....Oops......
And yes...ANY Inspiron of $1,499 works..........
jp22382 04-12-2005, 03:44 PM oh damn, dell is gonna get me yet

ReMarqable23 04-12-2005, 03:58 PM Does this work with any other items?
flybynight 04-12-2005, 04:02 PM i just got an email from dell for %10 off my entire order. i wonder if i can stack it with this deal?

otherwise i would splurge on a xps or somethin
BluKnight 04-12-2005, 06:35 PM Damn... I kept saying, if they drop the 6000 just $100 more, I'll do it. Looks like I'm getting a Laptop. Sigh...
R0cko 04-12-2005, 07:35 PM So lemme just clarify...It only works if the notebook is $1500? I had a $2100 9300 series configured and it wouldnt let me use the code. Its kind of odd that it only works whent the notebook is exactly $1500.
BluKnight 04-12-2005, 08:06 PM Does anyone have a Dell BigBucks coupon they don't plan on using? I'd really appreaciate it if someone had that $75 coupon.
zero_5 04-12-2005, 08:08 PM Is the coupon live yet? Cause I am getting a coupon expires when i apply it right now.
Choochoojr 04-12-2005, 08:17 PM Is the coupon live yet? Cause I am getting a coupon expires when i apply it right now.
STARTING 04/13 - 8AM CST - Dell Inspiron $750 off $1499 Coupon
It is not even active yet. Give it a shot later on, I am sure it will work
BluKnight 04-12-2005, 08:17 PM The coupon goes live tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.
EDIT: Choochoojr... you beat me to it.
zero_5 04-12-2005, 08:30 PM That's what I figure. I stay up to 4am to use this coupon last time. Thanks Choochoojr.
sevenal 04-13-2005, 05:10 AM OK Spoof
The link take me to DELL E & A
Every time I try to configure a deal it says $300 off which voids the coupon,
at least it says coupon expired.
What am I doing wrong?
Dose this deal become valid later today or what?
Has anyone made the coupon work?
Thanks
jdurbin 04-13-2005, 06:36 AM "Coupon code is expired" This is at 7:36 central time Wednesday morning
BluKnight 04-13-2005, 06:46 AM Coupon starts at 6AM pacific, 7AM mountain, 8AM central, and 9AM eastern time.
Grace33083 04-13-2005, 07:05 AM It's 8AM CT. It worked for me.
hodori58 04-13-2005, 07:15 AM it works but, the price is the one b4 that -$300 discount, but still a great deal
jdurbin 04-13-2005, 07:29 AM I just did it twice. I've got the first order acknowledgement already. We'll see if Dell actually follows through. They've invalidated orders before.
Licid 04-13-2005, 07:32 AM Got an Insperion 9300 for $1,300.

Too bad the 9300's don't ship until 4/29/05!
@didas 04-13-2005, 07:33 AM dell site seeems damns slow hahah, Pep must get crazy over this.
awakeness 04-13-2005, 07:51 AM 6:47pm ... coupon code quit working ... retried on a different notebook at 6:50 pm...still not working... anyone have it working on or after 6:47 pm PST ?
Coupon doesnt work. Just like every other Dell coupon code Ive ever tried to enter. It just ignores the fact that I entered it and keeps the original price.
What a joke.
Mic2470 04-13-2005, 08:03 AM This really sucks. I started the order process at 6:05 am PST and initially the coupon applied. But since Dell's site was operating soooooo slowly, I wasn't able to get to the final checkout screen till 6:45 am. Now, the darn coupon is invalid. Really, really, sucks. I woke early for nothing.
andrew26 04-13-2005, 08:12 AM Same thing happened to me... I had it in my cart and during checkout the price increased up to $1200. Now I can't get the coupon code to work.
I hope this is just a burp. I was looking forward to my kickass new system.
lap1314134 04-13-2005, 08:15 AM *****COUPON OFFICIALLY EXPIRES*****
DAMN, that was quick...within first hour...
@didas 04-13-2005, 08:52 AM i got both order confirmation, it is weird. One with shipping cost ($49), one without. i am calling them to ask about that. anyone experience same situation?
jdurbin 04-13-2005, 08:54 AM I have not gotten my order confirmation for the second order. We'll see if I get one or both or none. I have had orders cancelled before by Dell. I wonder why I still waste my time. I just want one for me and one for my father-in-law in L.A.
TonyP 04-13-2005, 09:17 AM I have a question for anyone who successfully ordered this deal... Were you able to load BOTH the $300 off promo on Inspirons AS WELL AS the $750 off $1499? Based on the Spoofee main page where the deal was mentioned, I would have thought you needed BOTH to get down to a net price of $749. When I placed my order, it removed the $300 when I tried adding the $750 off. I spoke with Dell and they told me you can't stack the discounts.
Cyber Nut 04-13-2005, 09:42 AM Started the process at 8:05 CST (they opened at 8:00 CST) and dell site was so damn slow, didn't get the confirmation until 8:40 and then the coupon expired.... This sucks big time... This was my first time and turned out to be a waste of time. Wouldn't try again...
jzpian 04-13-2005, 09:58 AM I had the same problem with Dell. I received an order one was with shipping and the other was without. I called them up and cancelled the order that had the shipping charge and confirmed 3 times with sales rep that shipping was free.

GIVIT2MESTR8 04-13-2005, 01:13 PM If you're gonna order that bad boy 9300 you need to dress it out with xtra memory video etc. So if you get it up to 1999.00 which is easy to do, use the following for 750.00 off anyway. $PL41?89Z6$T0? I just don't need it but if you need one it's a great price. Good luck. Coupon expires in a few days. :bigok:
cauchemar 04-14-2005, 06:19 AM which one is better 700m or 600m?
@didas 04-14-2005, 07:39 AM i believe the 700m is betta , for the size.
