Ugh... I guess it doesn't work for gift cards. I had another item in my cart, and it appeared as though the discount worked, but apparently it was only being applied to the items, not any gift cards you might have in your cart.

Ouch...

It never took the 30% off the gift card i bought...

It showed the discounted amount when I confirmed the order, but my credit card got charged for the undiscounted amount.

That's just... wrong.

Ack. Warning to all those that want to buy a gift card with a promo code. Supposedly (according to footlocker customer service), footlocker has a disclaimer that states they can adjust charges to credit cards, even if it is different than the amount reflected on your order page.
