If its a nice color sharpie just have him finish the job. It'll be much cheaper. ;)

FYI I just ordered new sofas and the place I bought them from has a 5 year protection plan plus Scotchguard. As long as we contact the company within 5 days of the incident, they will come and fix/clean/repair the sofas for 5 years. It covers food, blood, ink, rips, tears, coffee, crayons etc. etc.
