An FYI:
I sent in a VisionTek GeForce2 video card rebate since April 22nd and when I called the Rebate Center they said the rebate would not be mailed out until August 8th. That's approx. 14 weeks assuming that they do, in fact, mail it out then.

Are rebates taking this long now?

The rebate form said checks will be mailed in 6 - 8 weeks. Just curious to hear of others experiences.

My 3com cable modem rebate($40) haven't receive yet. I called to the phone number(not tool free) they provide in rebate form. Line was always busy. I sent my rebate since January and no hope. :confused: So, be careful when the rebate amount is over $20. If there is online rebate center, it will be ok I think. Anyway, Staples are really cool, no matter what your rebate amount is. Most of my check came back in within one month.

If it's Officemax, I know someone that called in for a status on the rebate because the phone number provided was always busy. Officemax sent the person a check from themself. So if you are having a problem contacting the phone number on the rebate, contacting the people you purchased it from might work. ;)

Thanks spoofee, but its from computer4sure and I don't have copies of UPC and that rebate form. All I have is receipt.
