There are a whole bunch of coupons all over the net for half.com but most of them are for new customers only. If I created a new account at half.com but used the same credit card, same shipping, and same billing address as my old account, would I then be allowed to used those "New Customers" coupons?

I haven't yet bought from Half.com, just perused their site. If they have the same system as the office stores, you will know if your coupon is accepted in the shopping basket.

Until you push the submit button there is no transaction. I have used this to advantage on several occasions. Often the shopping site will erroneously accept multiple coupons on the same order. THeir software makes mistakes and its up to them to find it.

One thing to be aware of is that if you cancel an order then you have temporarily lost your new customer status. You no longer get the first time customer promotional coupon. You must then call up CS and get your first time customer status reinstated.
