I'll probably end up trying it sometime this weekend. For 99 cents, I'll have my family enjoy a movie. I'll let you guys know what happens...

Well I have used the 99 cent coupon, just not the specific one from here. A few months ago to get a free rental you had to sign up for a blockbuster e-mail thing so they could send you e-mails about promotions and movies or something. so i got my coupon and now I got an e-mail recently and it was this coupon. Worked fine in the store, but I don't think you can use more than one per account.

Last time when I tried to use the free coupon again the guy at the store was having problems with it and then asked me if I had already used one of the coupons, I denied having knowledge and he did it manually.

But otherwise it should be good, and if you signed up for that blockbuster junk then go look in your yahoo mail or whatever spam you put it under and you probably have your own coupon waiting

I received the exact same email from BB. The coupon is the same too. Now, perhaps your account on BB has to be tied in with the email subscription to activate the coupon..? Don't know.

Blockbuster is not that technically inclined. When I get a free rentals card from Discovercard they have to punch out 10 individual holes on the card to keep count of how many I have used. I don't think they are linking e-mails and accounts. And if I remember correctly, when I signed up for that e-mail thing I gave a made up address and name, and we never had to give them our BB card # so they wouldn't know.

I think this one you might be able to use again and again. The other free coupon said only once per account, this coupon says one per visit. But that isn't to say they will let you keep walking in an out of the store probably.

Just got back from Blockbuster.

How it works is that you can use the coupon once per account. The use of the coupon is recorded to your individual account. I got the identical coupon via email also.

It is the same for the rent 1 game get 1 rental free coupon i think was posted in here several weeks ago.
