It's kind of a blanket statement to say that "these don't work" - it makes it sound as though none of them work. In fact, many of them do. It is common knowledge at many eateries, that you will receive some sort of goodies on your birthday. Sometimes you need a valid ID that proves your birthday.

Some places may not honor the birthday freebies, but a great many on this list, do in fact, celebrate along with the birthday person.

I can vouch for a few eateries.. Most will sing a song, or try to, and you generally get a free dessert. The best B-Day dessert I know of is at a CA only place called McKlintox, there's only 3 or 4 I think. But you get a song, your photo taken and a nice size strawberry shortcake dessert in a nice size glass. Man, those were the days, livin up there.. <sigh> If you live close, hitup the Madonna Inn for desserts.. Yum!!

And for those of y'all near a Moe's, register for their Birthday Club via their website (www.moes.com) and you will receive a coupon via email for a free meal on your birthday (or on the two days afterwards). My birthday is tomorrow and I received my coupon about a week ago; can't wait to use it.

My daughters birthday was today 9-15-1989. I emailed Krispy Kreme to see if they offer 1 dozen box of donuts free on your birthday, this is the response I was emailed directly from the Corporate office.

With regards to a Krispy Kreme birthday club, there is actually no
company-wide
club as such. Some stores may have initiated their own in-store birthday
clubs.
We would advice that you check with your local stores for their in-store
promotions.

What we do have that is company-wide is our Friends of Krispy Kreme program.
Our friends receive updates on new store openings, special promotions,
information about new products and other activities. Sign up is easy, simply

Oh.. and AutoZone doesnt even do oil changes. At least none of them here in New Orleans do. That was the one think I was gonna use off of this god forsaken list.

Maybe Ill call the King Buffet and see if I can eat for free.. Im hungry already.
