... or, if you use Brita then they have the same promotion at $12 3-packs also.

    Here's the link.

Does this filter work on ALL water pitchers?

Attention, these filters are for the water pitchers. Those of us who use the more convenient faucet filters will find this deal useless.

Still good if you use the pitcher, but don't get confused about which filters are on sale.

I installed the faucet filter and I don't like it. I like water to be cold and it's not cold enough from a faucet (I have an icemaker in ym apt. freezer, but why would I put those into filtered water?). I got a NIB Brita 2.5 gal water filter pitcher from Goodwill about 9 years ago and I am still using it.

I find the faucet one to be the same if not more inconvenient due to the size (makes it hard to navigate dishes and things in the sink) and if you want your water cold you will have to put it in another pitcher anyhow and put it in the fridge, so it is about the same thing in the end, at least for me. But this is a great deal for the 3 pack of these filters. A 1 pack at like wal-mart (which is usually cheap for these types of things) runs about 10.99. The 3 pack I think is like 25-30 at least there. I wonder why they are dumping them? It isn't like they expire or anything.

I prefer the faucet to the pitcher. Dishes go in the dish washer, water goes in the scotch, coffeepot, tea kettle, or pet water bowl. None of those require (or work as well) with colder water and all of them would require way too many refills... well, maybe except the scotch one :P

I think that Walmart is closing out on them for around $4-5.
