Wouldn't this be nice to play MP3s in the car? One disk, no worries.

How long it would take to finish 1 mp3 DVD

    800 Gb = 819200 Mb

On an average 1 mp3 file is 4mb of size, ie, 204800 files.

If average playtime for a file is 5 minute, ie, 1024000 mins.

    ie 1024000 /60 = 17066 hrs

    ie 17066/(24 -8 ) = 1000+days = 2+years

that is a looooooooooooong time, assuming there is no error in calculation

Wow! Even if they improve the amount of time it would take burn, by 30 times my current, 4x rate, it'd still take 255 minutes to burn an 800 GB DVD. Of course, who would have that much in data... today?

they are already at 12X , 30 times 12x would be much faster than the current 7200 hard drive transfer rate so well my idea could work
