    Lobbying

For example take the plastic case and FDA - FDA is supposed to protect our interest - conspiracy theory says FDA is acting under the lobbying influence

What is your take - support or oppose lobbying

I don't know enough about lobbying to say I oppose or support, but I do realize that in many cases it has been hijacked from being a good representation of the people's interests to a good representation of what makes money.

Agreed. Fire fighters lobby, but then again so do the drug companies, the tobacco companies, and, educators. For me I think I would need to know precisely what each is lobbying for, and, what it is they received in the end. :convinced:
