I highly doubt this will change people's minds about smoking
Spring is in the Air.....
I'll just put them in the nice leather carrying thing and vwalaaa, no pictures, heh heh
Makes me happy I was able to quit those (almost 4 months now),
Good for you! I'm going on 40 years. It takes less than a year until the craving of the drug abates as I recall.
It's a little like finding religion - you want to share your new life with everyone. Unfortunately too many people don't see the light and the drug is insidious enough that they think it isn't going to hurt THEM.
Very sad.
I think you're right. The individual has to decide to no longer be the effect of the drug. The oddest thing to me is how convinced smokers try to explain how they enjoy it. Any drug addict will say the same thing. Odder yet, to me, is the women who smoke, who are visibly quite vane and who deny that it makes them look about 10 years older. I can understand this when you are 13 but when you are 30?
My pet peeve is smokers who whine about being broke all the time. Don't complain about being poor if your throwing your money away on cigarettes. Just my little rant.![]()
someone needs to hurry up and slap a pic of a fat belly on this bag of chips i'm devouring right now.![]()
well i smoke and i still get carded because they think i am 19 and I am 34.
So, I guess it depends on the person. And yes I plan on quitting some day but I am not going to be forced into it.
Spring is in the Air.....
I waste money all the time on things (coffee included)...but I don't complain about being broke either. I think Sharon meant she is tired of the complaining in and of itself.
You have a point Jerry, I've never heard of anyone getting lung cancer from expensive clothing or going to the movies....unless of course, they were smoking at the time.

What do you mean I have a point?![]()
