Hmm, a 1GB mp3 player for $27 or a 512 Mb mp3 player for $10? Tough choice, but since I already ordered the $10 one this morning, I am satisfied with that one for 1/2 the memory for 1/3 the price.

this looks like a good deal, but do you think that buy.com will make it any cheaper in a week?

i noticed like with the ktuner deal, every week and a half, the price has kept dropping or the rebate kept getting higher...

so I don't know if I should buy now or later

well, on top of being an mp3 player, the 512 mb version does not state that it has FM in it ...

I bought the 512mb this morning and then a 1GB later. These are GREAT MP3 players! I already own two of these Creative players: a 512mb and a 1GB. Now I will have four. One for my favorite songs, one for new songs, one for old radio shows, and one to keep as a spare in case one breaks.

I have a Mac and these are much better than an iPod. Use recharageable batteries and they last and last. The sound is exceptional. The headphones are OK, I bought a pair of Sennheiser and they sound better.

It has a cable, USB is not built in. To me that is no problem. I believe the 512mb and 1GB that are on special both have FM. Re: color, the blue is not my favorite, but who cares. It comes with a protective case, armband and headphones.

This is not a good deal, this is a TERRIFIC deal. These model will be discontinued. The prices do NOT go down, the prices actually go up as the supply does down.

If you are thinking about this 1GB or the 512mb, get the 1GB. Either way, don't wait, they will sell out. Get them while you can.
