what's a good book to get? i'm a software engineer... i usually just learn by doing online searches and reading existing code. i would like to learn ruby on rails, maybe.
i heard agile web development is a good book... any others? seems like a really great offer, but i'm going to have to pass if i just order books that i'll never read. |

They really don't have any books that I like. I am also a software engineer, and I prefer the Apress line. Andrew Troelsen is an amazing writer for .Net.
I have only 2 books from O'Reilly, Java books that give info about all the available classes. I have not found any of their learning books to be any good. |
