Got one of these the last time there was a deal on them. Mine didnt work. Would connect but wouldnt stay connected. No matter what I did, I couldnt get it to connect automatically and stay connected.

I think that's common with most external adapters out there today. I worked with a client that had the same problem with three separate adapters from three separate companies: USB, PCI, and externally mounted. Yet the one my wife uses at home works just fine. Perhaps it was an issue with reception in my client's home or something with their wireless router?

Was hoping to use it to cheat a little to get another computer on the home network. Signal strength isnt the issue, as the laptop connects fine while in that room. Very strange indeed.
