I'm a geek and have one of these. They're great for finding a hot spot behind a wall or tracing a hot or cold line behind a wall. If you're doing some plumbing and need to know whee a line is coming or going this is a helpful item. Besides its a thermometer (Pyrometer) with a laser.

Darn, I guess it was a one or two day deal. Just tried to place order on July 5, price came down to $19.49, but it says 'The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase.' Should have ordered it yesterday while I was online!
