Just got one of these. Power outages are extremely rare here (Phoenix, AZ) -- so I didn't really need it -- but thought it would be nice for my modem, router & some computer stuff.

255W max... don't (accidentally) plug in more -- based on my experience with another APC UPS from several years back, that might kill all the battery backup outlets. Why they didn't (don't?) have some kind of protection circuitry is a mystery to me.

FYI: Uses 9 watts even when nothing is plugged in -- I think it's continuously charging the battery...? Anyway, it's only ~$7/yr of electricity (at 12 cents / kWh).
Does Not beep when it loses power, but supposedly will (non-defeatable) when the battery gets weak and is about to die.
