Is the eBay seller a verified Canon dealer? Otherwise the rebate isn't valid. I've seen this before from Spoofee where they can be a bit overzealous and some offers ARE too good to be true. I've gotten taken in the past. Anyone else tried this and been successful?

Seller raised price to $999 w/ rebate $350 making it $649.

Seller also has a lot of negative feedback so I would be wary
