I was shocked that my DIL let him out of her sight. They have no family near them so they never get a break. At that time the sweet little guy was just starting to sleep all night.

wow! I'm amazed they would be able to leave him for a week! Lucky you. I have no grandchildren but would like some. Maybe some day. My youngest just got engaged so ... Her law school room mate came to visit and she let me keep her baby overnight. I LOVED it.

Thanks for accepting my friend invite. My grandson is getting big ~ he is almost 6 months old. Hubby & I went to see my son, DIL & my baby-cakes in November. He slept at the hotel with us for 3 nights. When we were getting ready to leave, I asked if we could take the baby with us for a week to Florida. They said YES! All of my in-laws spoiled him. After taking him back home to his mommy & daddy ~ I cried. I am so happy that we had him for 10 days and nights! I have not seen him since

That's awesome! Congratulations on being married for so long. That's what we did this year, we celebrated my parents 50th anniversary. They (my parents) took all their children (spouses) and grandchildren on a cruise. It was a great way to all be together.

Sounds like a fun time. I went on the Celebrity Solstice. It was beautiful. We did the Caribbean and the ports were nice, but not great.

Yeah, I love having a Halloween birthday. I will have to agree that I would like to quit counting now. How about just celebrating Halloween!!
