I haven't been able to really see the olympics. I do watch the news to keep up. Its pretty exciting.:yesnod: I hope you hang around a bit longer.eace:

Sorry about your leg and foot. I think I may have to visit my doctor abour my right thumb. It pops in and out of joint and it hurts. I kept hitting against things and it popped out of joint. Anyway, I saw Columbiana. It was good. alot of action. It remind me of Salt. I don't know if you saw it. I really enjoyed it. :clap: The school kids are loud. I worked a street that had a school route on it. Chicago has parents who police the school area to make sure the kids are attending school. I had a male parent hold my bus doors open to board the school kids. :rant: I was not to happy about it. I don't wait for school kids because they usually like to ride in pairs or groups.:yesnod: It is getting cooler in Chicago. The temps have been low 60's lots of rain. The night temps have been 40-50 degrees. I guess fall is arriving early. Take care and rest your leg and ankleeace:

I am going to the movies to see Coloumbiana. I love action movies. I may take my mom to see The Help. I have 3 days off for the Hoilday. My work anniversary is next week following. :jaw: WOW!!! Your mom has a huge family!!! I thought my father's eight was something. I bet your mom and her siblings have many stories to tell. My dad gets with his brothers and tell how they all rode on the bus and went to the movies on one ticket and never got caught The school sytem in Chiacgo is not the best. Alot of students have died due to gun violence. The public school system established a Track E System. Its to keep the chidren in school later and longer. I guess if they are in school they can't get in trouble. Pray for our youth they are dying too soon. I think the smiles went out again. I can not access any. Have a good week . PEACE!!!

:boogy: Sounds like you have a large family.:clap: I am taking a line dance class on Thursday nights from 7-8pm. I love it. It is fun. My Cousin talked me into taking it. My mom brought me some shrimp from the store. I have a recipe for fried rice . I think I will cook it next week. I went to a picnic last month it was cool. The schools started early August 8th. It is called track E. The whole school system starts September after Labor Day. I celebrate 16yrs on my job September 10th :target::target::woot: I hope you are enjoying your summer. I found a cosmotolgy school that does my pedicure and eye brow arch for $20 total !! I went Friday. They do good work. Have a fun summereace:

:wave: Hiya Sea, My father's Mother is the only one alive. My father has all his sisters and brothers alive 8 in all.:yesnod: My mom is the only one alive on her side of the family. She has cousins out of state. That is all. my grandmother is in her late 80's.:clap: She is a fireball. I love seafood also especially scallops and shrimp. My ankle is healing slowly. sometimes I walk fine, then later it starts to hurt.:sad: Yes, I am working the summer. Summer school ended today for the kids. They return August 8th.
Do you plan to go out of state for the summer? eace:

I did hear them up to 2am the next morning. :rant: I was not a happy camper, knowing i had to get up early for work!!!:argh: Anyway, I went over my parents for a while. My weekend started off with a friend losting her youngest brother. I went to the funeral and I visit with her family yesterday.:sad: I have meetings Saturday and Sunday. I visit my grandmother Sunday. My schedule is full this month. next weekend , I have a wedding to attend.:yesnod: I hope your keeping cool. Chicago has been hot. Its been in the high 80s

Chicago has gotten 70 to 80 degrees. We are getting alot of rain. I have three days off this weekend sat-mon. I am going to hang out with my parents for Memorial Day. You have any plans? :whoo::whoo::cheer2: Hi Sea, I am having a wonderful time. I did some salsa dancing Friday night and stepping. Last night we went to whirlyball. I laughed so much, it took me two games to plan the game correctly. I don't know if you are familar with whirlyball, its basketball and go cart game in one.You drive thee go cart and try to put this ball in a hoop on the wall. The Ball is in a scooper as you drive , you use one hand to drive, and the other to scoop the ball into the hoop. All the while the opposite team is bumping you with the go cart trying to stop you and vice versa. We played two hours. The steering knob hit my thigh and I was sore the rest of the evening. The weather has been awful. 50 degrees and rain:rant: I hope you had a good weekend.eace::yesnod:

:wave::music: Hi SEA!! I have never had a birds nest outside ny window:lol: When the mall walkers walk, the geese like to nest in one of the entry ways. The mall maintenance always post signs warning us not to exit. My walk was good. 30 people signed up and only 8 people showed one woman brought her husband and he out walked all of us.:yesnod:I have my carpet cleaned this morning. Today I am going to spend the weekend in Naperville. Its a small suburb northwest of me. It's about 1hour drive. My Church is having a singles retreat. Salsa dancing and ballroom dancing. I feel like I am on dancing with the stars.:lol: Do you like to watch Dancing with the Stars? I like it.:clap: The weather has been wonderful 80 degrees. It will cool down this weekend. :five: Hi Sea, Theres always something to do in Chicago. There is preparation for a walk -a-thon on the 23rd. I was invited to attend but I am help passing out Easter food baskets for the shelters. My church does it every year. I think its so neat. I like to see the on the people faces. They are very grateful. Most of the shelters are elderly. I like the elderly.:yesnod: I will do a walk with weight watchers in May. We did one last year. It was lots of fun. Do you have any big plans for the summer?eace:

We have went from 70-48 degrees in a week. It is suppose to rain Friday -Sunday. I still won't take any extra clothing off.:nonod: The nights are still cooler. I got a chance to see the ending of SECRETARIAT. Very good movie. The story of that horse was amazing. I don't know if you have seen it.It is a excellent film.
