Seems as though I remember paying about 10X this for my first 30GB harddrive.

I picked up the Maxtor 160GB drive from the deal earlier this week. This one will make a good OS drive. Just hope they honor both rebates.
 
Very sweet deal :D . Moday I got this 30GB drive. Today I just came from the Staples store with the 160GB. I usualy do the online rebate, seems to work pretty well. I'd called three stores and there was one with two 160GB drives left :shock: . "I'll be there in a few minutes, hold one me." I said. Thanks for the cupon, I'd printed out and tooked it to the store with no problem. :D
 
I only see the $80 rebate, where to get the second rebate? I would like to give it a try also.

Hey, does anyone have a copy of this rebate form? Or can anyone who got this rebate tell me what the required dates of purchase were? I sent in my rebate form and did NOT make a copy of it, only copied the invoice and UPC code....now Maxtor says I didn't buy it in time--and of course, I don't have the rebate form to check this with. There is a NEW rebate form on the Staples site though, dated 7/03. This is not the one I need--I need the original form from June 03.

the valid date for the rebate is 6/8-6/21. i don't have the form either...i fill out the form online...sorry good luck htough
