Article on Yahoo Movies states these are the 10 most historically inaccurate motives

- 10,000 BC
- Gladiator
- 300
- The Last Samurai
- Apocalypto
- Memoirs of a Geisha
- Braveheart
- Elizabeth: The Golden Age
- The Patriot
- 2001: A Space Odyssey

- 2001: A Space Odyssey

Un, duh. Being that it was made years before that.

i can deal with historical inaccuracies if i get to see gerard butler without a shirt

that movie makes me want to work out more and go kick some "bad guy" butt!!!!!

30% of the movies are Mel Gibson vehicles. Last Passion belongs up there with Apocolypto and Patriot. Probably Yahoo! left it off for marketing reasons (same way that ABC almost always praises Disney films).

But one has to wonder, just what constitutes an "inaccurate motive?"

I think this statement pretty well defines an inaccurate movie;

"The following ten flicks, however, treat the truth like it was Silly Putty -- pulling and twisting it until it's unrecognizable."

I believe it's a matter of writing fiction and then changing the fictitious names to upset the historians.

I was just watching the Memoirs of a Geisha the other day!

Accuracy aside, is it good?
My wife has it on her long list of "movies we didn't see because I didn't take her or get the vidio yet".
