    Japan Nuclear Meltdown Coming?

I think everyone expected things to get worse and the media to be not stating how bad things are, but actually hearing more explosions going off is scary

Boy does that piss me off. When they say "It's safe. It's safe! We're careful! " and then whoops! Ya know, like off shore drilling and when dh throws the dogs ball in the house.
"Make sure you put on clean underwear"!

I'd like to know where the map came from. I don't trust it.

After some research, I found it came from this thread:

    Thanks Spaz. Check this out:

Is radiation from Japan heading to the U.S.? - The Rumor Doctor - Stripes

Perhaps more alarming to our readers in the United States is a map circulating on the Internet that purportedly shows the fallout from the ongoing disaster will expose the U.S. West Coast to 750 rads of radiation. The map, allegedly from the Australian Radiation Services, doesn’t say what exactly that means, but it sure sounds bad.

Fortunately, the map is a hoax, according to the real Australian Radiation Services, which has put a disclaimer on its website letting readers know it had nothing to do with the map.

One of the giveaways is that the “rad” is an outdated unit of measurement and is no longer widely used, said Joe Young, managing director for the service.

Young doesn’t know who came up with the map.

The map maybe posted by some bogus people, but I'm not ready to laugh it off yet.

No harm in stocking up on iodine.
Dr. Preco, I hold a license to practice on Uranus.

    Anyone seen my pen?

Post office doesn't, but our shop is actually in one of the buildings. That's where we would head.
