Goatzee spread out the cost to the equivalent of "30 regular rolls"... not .79 for the 12 Huge rolls (that would make the deal only $9.48)... making their local deal a better one. I ended up recently getting 12 huge rolls (same as amazon) for $19.99 locally - which is better than amazon... amazon does have great subscribe & save deals... but this isn't one of them. Charmin, Tide... those are 2 that are better for me (locally they cost more).

Are you sure the rolls you get locally are the same as the Bounty Huge rolls you get online? Bounty seems to have so many different kinds. The Bounty paper towels I get at Costco are different from the ones I get at Walmart. Even though the packaging looks nearly identical, the Costco rolls are thicker. Then there's the Giant, Extra Soft, Select-a-Size, etc. - all Bounty brand. The world of paper-towel comparison is so confusing.

In this case, yes, it was apples to apples (I made sure it was the "Huge" size w/the same # of sheets). I do know what you mean though... it seems they try to add confusion with all the different descriptions (mega, huge, large, giant). I love Select-a-size but mistakenly bought regular Oh well!
