    Stay away from Market Reader Pro

    In Feb I was selected to do a pt on socks I was sent 6pairs I did the pt answered the questions sent the form back and I was supposed to be getting 45 dollars in my paypal acct. I finished the survey and waited a few weeks for my payment It never came so I called the company and got the run around said I would be getting paid in a few weeks I still have not been paid I have tried emailing the company calling ect.. The last time I called the girl told me my payment would be coming soon and it hasnt so I called again and the lady was quite rude and I told her that if I didnt get paid soon that I would be contacting the Better Business Bureau she said go ahead and I have and the company refuses to even acknowledge that they were contacted. I know that the ammount is small but its the principle. Any ideas who I can contact.. There are complaints at survey police and a few other sites. Thankyou for listening

    What is a "pt"? I am in Emergency Medical Services and to me that means patient.

    You can always try the BBB, but also let your local state attorney general (AG) know. Be sure you CC the company with your complaint to the AG. You can find a list of AG addresses here.

    I did a survey for one pair of socks, completed the survey and was told I would get $10 in my paypal. I have tried e-mailing the company, but have not gotten a response. (I completed survey in early June).
    What number are you calling as I would like to try to call also. It seems odd they would send you the product (and I did love the socks) but not follow thru with payment. This was my first product test with Market Reader. I have for years done other survey/product tests with other companies and have never had a problem.

    I agree it's the principal-I was told I would get $10 and want the $10!

    I think the socks may have been Dr. Scholl's???? I almost would like to contact the manufacturer
    and tell them what's going on.

    The number I called was 1-866-809-5420

    the socks I got were 3 different brands I have been waiting since early March :(

    I did get to keep the socks but I was promised the 45 dollars and I want it Also I was looking at a few complaints about this company and some people did a oven study and were supposed to get 400 dollars and they havent been paid.

    Send a letter to both states and then CC Market Reader Pro. Companies don't like knowing they are being reported to the attorney general's office.

    While this isn't exactly the same as your situation, I have made a sample letter for a rebate being denied. You can adjust it accordingly. Make sure that you note the dates and times you have attempted to resolve the situation. Include copies of e-mails sent as well!
