This is how I got mine...I did a search for the item#FB454UT and was able to see which sites were selling it. I found several that had them in stock, but at the regular price. I kept the sites open and kept refreshing them until the price dropped. It just so happened that PC Connection dropped their price first, so I jumped on it and bought it. These don't just stop working because HP is not longer supporting them. I've been using it all weekend - hardly a "paperweight".

I am in all the chaos HP had to put the breaks on things and therefor the availability to their vendors as well.

I would not be surprised if you see these touchpads being sold over the next few weeks but not as low as this past weekend.

They are supposed to return them to HP. I don't need one now, but I think they are just going to get cheaper.
