Thanks! The NOAA alerts is a nice plus on this unit. I frequently participate in 2 car road trips, so this will definately come in handy.

Be careful though, even though I chose free shipping, it tried to change it to 2-day and charge me on the final screen. If you want free ground shipping, make sure it says so on the last screen!

anyone know how these actually perform in the real world?
Obviously they wont broadcast 8 miles on the typical highway..
