2007 Starbucks Cheer Party: FREE tall drinks

Starbucks has Cheer Parties around the country in select stores in the beginning of December. I don't know the specifics of ALL of the stores (or which ones are hosting the parties), but I do have the information for the local Ann Arbor, Michigan Cheer Party. I would suggest asking your local Barista -or maybe the manager- about where your local party is located.

Ann Arbor's Cheer Party will be at the new Carpenter Road store on December 6, 2007 (Thursday) from 5 pm - 7 pm. The address is 3650 Carpenter Road, Pittsfield, MI 48104. There will be FREE tall (12 oz) drinks, FREE pastries, FREE goodie bags, a raffle, and FREE crafts for the kids.

There are signs posted at the Ann Arbor Starbucks locations of State and Liberty, Main Street, Briarwood, Glencoe, South University, and Arborland.

My question is, are free drinks free of calories too? I think you might get a discount. After all, a peppermint white mocha is great in its nonfat form, but how can you spread cheer without the whipped cream and red sprinkles? ;)

Darn! None in Bend Oregon - but I did learn that we have 10 Starbuck stores here now.

The Starbucks at the Edison Mall (Outside location) is holding its first ever Cheer Party on December 8th from 10am until 7:30pm. Live music throughout the day from various local artists, child safety information, story telling w/ Santa, & childrens games. We will also be holding a Coffee Seminar with Gwen and Paula in the evening.

New unwrapped toys will also be collected for Voices for Kids and Guardian Ad Litem. Toys will be given to children in these services for the holidays, help make a christmas brighter for one of these children. Special thank you's to everyone who drops off a gift on this day!! =)

Thanks so much for the great info! I called my local Starbucks before leaving work last night and learned they had just set up for their event that evening! Great timing ~ free Tall Peppermint Mocha Iced with lots of whipped cream and sprinkles for me and also some bite-sized nibbles. They didn't do anything for kids or giveaways, but it was still fun to visit and get the drink!
