Silly question about Game Boy Advance SP

The Sophinator got a GBA SP system last year. Would "regular" Game Boy Color games also work with it??

I obviously know nothing about it.

Yes they should, but the game cartridges will stick out farther than the Advance cartridges.

Yes, the GB games will work with Advance & SP, I got this off of a website before the Sp was released

There is said to be no internal changes to the machine, which now measures three inches by one inch and weighs almost exactly the same as the original GBA. It is assumed that there will be no compatibility issues with previously released games, which also means older games for the Game Boy Color and Game Boy should also run without problems.
