Walmart is offering a Netflix type of deal. You can sign up for 30 days, choose online, receive and ship back the movies with their paid postage. Before the 30 days are over, cancel the membership online to avoid charges.

    4. Cancel online before 30 days to avoid charges.

How is this any different than the Netflix free trial? NetFlix
All I see different is that you can only have two DVDs at a time with Wal-Mart's free trial and with Netflix you get three. Wal-Mart's price is about a buck cheaper per month but the site is weaker than NetFlix (although that might be because I'm used to the NetFlix site and like their recommendation system).

I would suggest using the Netflix system over Wal-Mart's even at the lower price point.

Gamefly.com is a sister site to Netflix. For the $20/m price, you can have two games out, the usual deal. They offer either a ten day or two week free trial, worth doing if you feel like renting a game for free, even if you can only do it once.

    This is a great service.

I used it free for two months and paid for one more. I cancelled because there were no more dvds I wanted to rent and copy ( ).

I will wait 6 more months till there are more dvds I want, then the renting begins.

For game rentals. http://www.numbthumbgames.com offer a 2 week free trial, and http://www.govojo.com offers a 10 day trial.

You can also check out http://www.greencine.com for a two week trial of DVDs.

Be careful with Walmart, they tend to be screwey with 'accidentally' charging your account. They'll refund you if that were to happen, but in my case it took over a week to get an e-mail response from them.

Also, the Walmart service is pretty ----ty. I put about 20 DVDs on my queue, I think maybe 3 were available now. They also took 5+ days to arrive, but for free you can't really complain, eh?

I'm on my second week of the trial (I chose the 4 disc option for an extra $6) and so far I have been sent a total of 10 discs. It takes 2-3 days to receive them. Of course, I copy them for viewing at a later date. I recommend the service.
