    100 Maxell 40x 700MB CD-Rs for $10 (no rebates)!

Apparently, Circuit City has the Maxell 40x 700MB CD-R 50 pack for $10, with a buy one get one free special. It's an in store special only. I haven't been in the store to check it out, but from what I hear, it's there. Great deal if you need some CD-Rs and have the time to go drive out. Enjoy!

NOT a good deal. With most ofeten deals including FREE CD-R spindles almost every other week, why would anyone pay $10 for it? Memorial day sales are coming up. I am willing to bet that at least one if not two or three retailers will offer FAR CD-Rs which are higher speed than 40X

    ;)

Normally, you can spend about $10 for good name brand CD-Rs like these with rebates, so this is a great deal because you don't need to process rebates and you're getting a good deal anyway.

Lmao for $10 what the hell you want to expect?? also you dont have to deal with rebate. I know you can get CD-R cheap as $3 for 50cd-r but that is after the $10 rebate.

    Maybe so........maybe so. BUT,
I have been burning for the past 5 years now, and I probably spent a total of $25 on all of thousands of CDRs I've burnt.

It's nice when you don't have to mess with rebates, but generally I don't mind them. It normally takes me about five minutes to fill out and once I mail it, I don't really worry about it. It's an easy way to save money, so I don't really care. I mean, I'm not saying that they're a pain because they take so long and all, but if it's going to save me some money. For example, $30 for a pack of Fuji CD-Rs, compared to $10, I don't mind it at all. No rebates for $10 means a pretty good deal, to me at least.

    Hmmm!
I would agree partially if these were not MAXELL!
Most of the people outthere don't care about the media they use, but a few years later they could regret saving those few bucks ($10) seeing their (Khyper)NoNAMEmedia go bad and losing the stored data!

Nowadays there's only a few brands who maintain a really good quality (media support) and MAXELL is one of them! (also SONY, FUJI and some TDK)

Definitely a GREAT DEAL to get disks made by RITEK or TAIYO YUDEN (the "real" manufacturers of all the mentioned brand disks) for 10$ (w/o rebates)!!!

    Just my 2 cents...

P.S. BTW! For those who will buy'em make sure the packaging says MADE !N JAPAN!
