I have this printer and love it. Only problem is, this thing is huge and heavy. I had to go out and buy a new printer stand for it.

but arent the toner cartridges $80 to $150 each and you have to buy 3 (or 4) separate color cartridges and a black cartridge too?!? by buying one complete set of toner cartridges, it cost double the cost of the printer. but that how printer manufacturers lure you in, with cheap printers as bait.

what are the prints like? is the output consistent with corporate spreadsheet-like prints or near photographic?

I agree the consumables are expensive, but so are ink-jet cartridges which end up drying up after time, if not used often and you do not get 1,500+ prints out of them either. This is not a photo printer, but the output is pretty good. I read through the reviews before I purchased and I actually got it for $149 after MIR.
