How did you find out their rebate is dangerous? I have gotten a couple of rebates back in the past.

    Thanks!

I never had a problem with a CompUSA rebate.

Unfortunately this item is out of stock in my area.

Two people asked me this week where to get a cheap desktop. Too bad this one is OOS. :(

CompUSA rebates aren't a problem except they take FOREVER. They won't even start counting the processing time until AFTER the return period has expired.

It took me overnight Sunday into Monday to get one of these. Every time I would look up availability it stated yes to 1 store...Then I'd add it to the cart and it came back oos.
The next morning I looked it up and 3 places were showing a sin stock, but then as I'd add it only 1 showed in stock...
So we went down and actually got it.
It needs more memory as it is shared video memory, but otherwise I like it so far.
Now for memory deals???? pc 3200 1 gig chips (x2)....

If it's OOS, why not just have it delivered? Tax is minimal compared to the price of this thing. I'm thinking if I should get it delivered.

I had the same problem with COMPUSA rebates . Yes, some of you might get it back and that's good. However, look at the ratio/numbers of people who don't get them back. My last words is, keep doing rebate at COMPUSA and you will end up not getting 1, 2 or 3 of them back:thumbs_do . That will be enough for you to reconsider. I work hard for my money, I don't know about all of you. Peace.
