    Can't find deal

I went to Comcast's website and didn't see this price listed anywhere on there. Do you have a link that shows this price. I went all the way through to the ordering page and didn't see it. I don't want to place my order without being sure I can get this deal.

    Try:

Dell could have a $75 rebate with this offer too, or so I read. You'd have to get it from Dell of course.

Works fine for me. 6 months at $20 if you own your modem.

This deal is their standard promotion right now. I have the service, and have had it for almost four years.

Basically (at least in my area), Comcast will give you two mail-in rebates which make the Motorola SB5100 modem and Comcast install kit free after rebates. You can pick the stuff up at a place like Circuit City or Best Buy. Then, the service is $20 for six months, then it goes up to the normal $42.95 a month, considering you have cable video service and you own your modem, which you would if you got the SB5100.

The SB5100 is the best modem around right now, so it's not a bad deal.

DSL from Verizon around here is typically cheaper but the service has a lot of problems, plus it is a PPPoE IP. I give Comcast the thumbs up, and if anyone has any questions if they choose to get the service, let me know and I'll tell you more!

    Some things about comcast:
    >you can only use it with one computer, more than one computer you have to pay more for each computer. Says so in the rules.

    >the newserver is giganews, you get one gig per month, which is about 30 megs per day, which isn't much.
