    it's not actually a $25 gift cert. it's just one of those restaurant.com $25 "dining certificates"

    I knew it was restaurant.com as soon as I saw the offer. Those things are always on sale for $4-5.

    I wouldn't mind those dining certificates if they (the ones I'm interested in) didn't have so many terms and conditions -- Dine-in Dinner only, Minimum 4 entrees, Excludes alcohol and tax, Not Valid Fri-Sun and Holidays, Not Valid with House Specials, 20% gratuity added, etc...

    yeah the usual crap. one restaurant here requires you to order $60 worth, dine-in only, not valid on weekends crap, not to mention that the quality is now down the drain.

    Most of the ones in my area only have $35 minimum purchase with no restrictions on day of the week. Some mandate an 18% tip too, but not all of them. I only buy the ones w/out restrictions or with few restrictions.
