    Real or Artificial Tree?

Do you put up a real tree, or, an artifical tree? Sadly, my little doggy has horrible asthma, and, I had to switch over to an artifical tree. :( But it is still very pretty with color lights on it! Tristan (the dog) goes in and just sits by it and looks and stares! So cute!

Usually it was a real tree, but the mess it made switched me over to a faux tree.

We get a real one from Ikea every year. They have really nice trees and if you bring the tree back after Christmas they recycle it for you, and they give you a $10 gift certificate so it's a great deal!

WOW! That is an awesome deal, and, good for the environment! No IKEA around us though. A lot of places will "shred" the Christmas trees if you take them back.

FAKE. Can't see paying some of the ridiculous prices some places charge every year for something that will disposed of after a few weeks.JMO

I have to have a real tree. Yep, they are usually ridiculously expensive, and no, we can't afford it, but I'm stubborn and traditional.

We always put up a real tree. I know the prices are ridiculous for certain types of trees but here in Texas you can usually get a 5 to 6 foot scotch pine for a decent price. I myself have been partial to the frazier fir trees the last couple of years.

Is it missing branches and wobbly? Sorry. couldnt resist the ikea joke.

I dont do a tree. Living by myself in a smallish townhouse it doesnt make much sense. Maybe if I get that house I will start but I doubt it. But one day I found an artificial one (literally) so I brought it home. I've had it for three years and never used it. I gave it (lent it?) to my mom this year.
