    Food storage question

I bought a pretty good sized amount of fresh cilantro on sale. How can I store it so that it doesn't go bad? Can I chop or mince it and store it with my spices and herbs?

I read once that the best way to store fresh cilantro is to chop it, put in ice cube trays, cover w/water and freeze. said it stays good for a year. Not sure though, I don't use cilantro but once a year to make my salsa!

You can always try drying it out in the oven. Set the temp at 100 degrees and keep the door slightly open to let moisture out. Not sure how long it takes to dry it out though. Hope that helps!

I wonder if that would work with mint. I have a ton of it in my yard and I never know what to do with it. :convinced:

Tie it into a bunch & hang it from your ceiling. It can dry naturally.
