    Will the Rebate Work?

The product # for the new link you provided is a little different. The $54 drive part number is DTIU3/2GBKR while the $43 drive is DTIU3/2GB. Obviously pretty subtle, but it's possible it wouldn't work. The rebate form does say it is for the DTIU3/2GBKR part.

    Re: Will the rebate work?

No, the rebate is not applicable to that model of the Kingston 2GB flash drive. One close look at the item and description in & around the pricing/shipping area shows NO REBATES available, whereas the other model clearly indicates the rebate information.

For those that don't like the U3 feature, there are ways to remove that and use it like a normal flash drive.
