That is an awsome camera! I got one for Christmas and it is great. That is also a real good price. The retail is 299.99. My camera was purchased the day after thanksgivings black friday and was 199.99 plus we had a $40 off 199.99 coupon.

Does it also take video with sounds? Does it have anything to help stabilze the pictures and make them clear? What about image correction if the shots come out too dark? Also is it compatible with any 1 or 2 gig card? I remember someone telling me that certain cameras are only compatible with certain cards.

yes it takes video with sounds

it doesnt have real image stabalization, thats what u get with really expensive DSLR cameras.

images dont come out too dark. it has auto-flash feature.

it is compatible with both 1 gig and 2 gig SD cards. also 4 gig. but not compatible with high capacity SD cards (32 gig ones etc)

Lots of the compact point and shoot cameras have stabilization, both optical and digital. By way of for instance, the Canon SD800 has optical stabalization (operates during movies, too).
