    be carefull with this item, it does not work with all sytems, you must have an avalible usb pin connector on the board.

    Yeah, not sure why you would get this. You have to be careful b/c not all motherboards have the same pinout for their USB headers. Plus, if your motherboard came with USB headers, you probably already have this bracket or you can use your case's USB cables (if you have that). Most (if not all) motherboards with USB headers will have at least 2 USB ports built in. Just buy a HUB.

    I was thinking the same thing - if you had pins on your mobo for USB ports, your motherboard would have come with the connectors instead of making you buy them separately. Unless you specifically know that you need this product, I wouldn't buy it.

    It is cheap though, which does make it a deal

    I build my own PCs -- usually the motherboards I get come with those if there are extra onboard ports. As for USB1 vs USB2, that would just depend on what type of interface is on the motherboard that you are connecting it to.
