Wow, this is huge!

This thread has become one of the biggest threads. Not just 86 pages of anger, but more all over other webpages.
Some guy won an Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution on ebay (usually goes for over $31k, but he won one for $26.5k), but the dealer refused to sell it at that price.
Result? Everyone on the internet's angry and calling/emailing Mitsubishi.

Wow, this is huge!
It appears as if Mark's Auto has bended. In their feedback, they have posted they are willing to honor the bid. (http://cgi2.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-c...rid=marks_auto)
The auto place did have a little, legal loophole by stating the auction would end early if the car were sold, presumably via someone shopping personally at the dealership. And they also stated, "We reserve the right to notify bidders and cancel this auction AT ANY TIME." That last statement wouldn't stand court muster. The first loophole might pass with a judge, but since the auction ended, Mark's Auto has no legal standing.
Good luck to this fellow!
its at 108 now.. Wow thats harsh.. nice car too;)

It's true.
MARK MITSUBISHI offered me the same ebay EVO at the final auction price.
Many of you knew of MARK MITSUBISHI's offer before I did since I was at work.
I was informed that the car was not titled and the full factory warranty would be in effect.
The finance manager did not know the exact mileage, but he informed me that the car remained at MARK MITSUBISHI after the auction.
The dealer is researching tax issues for a out of state sale.
This thread is amazing. Thanks to all.
