    It's funny the rebate states:
    By submitting this form you
certify that the above items are for personal
use only and not for resale

    So you can't resell?

You'd better read user reviews on Amazon.com.
If you don't know much about computer, choose a router with very good user reviews.

Bought it online and picked it up at store today. While the guy was processing my credit card, I was just walking around the customer service desk and they had stacks of "$15 off $100" coupons offered by Microsoft Vista. I took one and read it and it didn't say anything about having to buy Vista in order to use it so I asked the guy and he said I can use it on this purchase. So I paid $94.99+tax before $80 rebate. Came out to something like $22. Hell of a deal.

If you want cheap, get a $40 off $199 coupon at ebay. Buy two, they prorate the coupon & return the one you don't want later.

Whatever you do don't price match. That does weird things with rebates.

I just realized this router actually is a phone adaptor for Earthlink VoIP service. I didn't realized that when I was ordering cause I didn't really read details.

There is additional rebate of $50 if you activate earthlink VoIP service as well. ($80 rebate only requires a copy of UPC).

Since I'm already using other VoIP service, I don't need such feature. I wonder if this will allow use with any other VoIP companies.

    hmm.....

it looks like a nice product and a great deal. i was about to jump for it but after reading some of the reviews..... id have to change my mind on this one. although it seems like most of the product owners are complaining about vonage rather than just the router.

I was wondering why the non rebate prices were so high for a G router. This is how much the N routers re going for. G routers are going for around $50. The VOIP expains it though.

Staples & Circuit City have a Netgear G router for that price, $19.95 but no rebates needed.
