How would that be? I have never use it at all but even if I did how would it harm Google's revenue from paid advertisers? Isn't that where they make their money?

When you click on "I'm Feeling Lucky", you're taken directly to the site you're searching for (if you're lucky, ha ha) so no revenues for Google. If you do a regular search, you go to a Google page with lots of hits (and lots of ads).

That's interesting that Google even provides the IFL page if they lose that much $ on it.

So after reading this last night I played w/"I'm feeling Lucky" for a while. No I don't have any malintent, just curious. I didn't even ONCE get directed to a page resembling what I would have been searching for! It was fun, entertaining, maybe slightly educational.....but not helpful.
