The deal is actually for Phillips DVD-R's (or DVD+R's) Item # 881218

It is not valid for the Verbatim disks.

The deal seems to work fine for Verbatim.

I can't get the link to work, but this is a pic from the link on the front page.

That's odd, it wouldn't work for me - I just kept getting a message telling me I needed to order at least 2 of the items on offer and when I clicked on 'details' it told me the offer was only for the Phillips disks. They were the same price so it was just as good!

I wonder if there are regional differences?

The free coupon say is for 25 Verbatim DVD-R or 25 Philips DVD+R, just clic "more" button next to the coupon in your cart. i wanted to mix this deal (25 -R and 25 +R) and I can't make it happen, so is either 2x25 Verbatim -R or 2x25 Philips +R for this price.

It worked just fine for me. Although, I forgot to enter the coupon codes initially and then called online support to get it fixed. She promptly made the corrections to my bill and I got two spindles of Verbatim DVD+R's for $50! Can't beat that!

For anyone that uses a Plextor 708a dvd burner, these disks are great. They are one of the few that will burn at 8x!!

At least someone asked that. You should be careful to match media with your writer, try this website, left column, dvd writers, search for yours & what media to use. Verbs are kind iffy cause they have reformulated:

These are the 4x ones (I believe?) they don't actually say, but they look like the ones I have now, which are 4x. That www.dvdrhelp.com site is a great one to go to for all your dvd writing compatibility issues. You can also go to dvd players on the left side and make sure the media will work on your dvd player as well as your burner!

Don't know if anyone is interested, but officemax.com is selling 25 packs of imation dvd+r and dvd-r for $35 with a $15 rebate, making each one $20 AR. The items are listed separately on the rebate form and one is allowed one rebate per item. So, 50 dvd discs for $40 AR. Dunno if it's going on in stores, cause I have two of those $10 off $50 coupons to use up and I could use one and get 50 of 'em for $30
