Netgear MR814 Wireless Router For $37.99 Shipped After Rebate

Amazon has the NetGear Cable/DSL Wireless Router (802.11b) for $24.94 after rebate. Comes with a 5 year warranty and 4 ports for your current router setup. Here's a review from CNET, and ZDNET. No tax for most of us and if the price goes down in the next 30 days, you can pricematch.

    1. Amazon Price : $44.94
    2. Rebate Price : -$20.00
    Final Price : $24.94

Amazon is selling this unit for $57.99 ($37.99 after rebate), not $44.99 ($24.99 after rebate). Did they just raise the price?

Amazon.com does this all the time. If it is cheap and selling good they raise the prices.

This is no deal at the new price. Best buy and Office Depot both have deals on this.

    eligable e-tailers

I found this same router at compgeeks. com for 29.50 but if I remember right the rebate says something about certain e-tailers. Does this mean you can only buy it from them to get the rebate?

    Yep.

I got it several months back from Staples for around $39 Ar. It works fine on my dell, so if you got one of those this should work for ya.
