Did this last year. The level is mediocre, but could probably be found relatively inexpensive around town. TIME is about 10% actual news and about 90% "every problem in the world is caused by President Bush." It gets ridiculous reading an article about, say, soccer balls going flat on kids in Mexico and the cause is Bush's foreign policies.

They need to figure out how to write real news. I was going to cancel after a few months but my wife is a teacher and wanted to let the kids cut them up for pictures. Still threw half of them away.

I look at it from two angles - I have multiple laser levels and can never seem to find one so this is just another one to leave around and hope I find it when I need one. And my church has a paper recycling program that every time the dumpster is filled they get $250 from the recycling company. So I sign up for tons of free and low cost magazine subscriptions just to help fill the thing.

That sounds like quite a few media outlets I know. After a while, I switched to one online source for unbiased overage. They may feature articles from time to time that sound like something out of a relationship magazine, but at least it isn't biased.
