Green square question

Ok I don't know if I am scanning the posts too quickly or if the answer is just not there, but what's w/ the green square under the post count??
Does it have something to do w/ the reputation points??

It represents reputation points.

If you appreciate a post and click on under the poster's avatar, you can give them more green squares.

I am sorry callmeCrazyButt, but the information is privileged. You must be a member of the mod squad to understand the green box. (Or you can hover your mouse over it for a few seconds to read the pleasant message.)
