What can you do to a bathroom mirror to stop it from fogging up during a hot shower?

You can't really stop it, but a hairdryer clears it off really fast! Only way to really stop it is cover it with a towel, just depending on the bathroom set up you have using clothes pins to secure a towel against the mirror will give you a clear mirror, or you can use a squeegee to clear it as well, I have a squeegee that I use to get all of the water off of the shower walls and out of the bathtub, I have used that same squeegee to clear the bathroom mirrors, but only because I am lazy about cleaning, and cheap, and I don't want to use too much window cleaner.

What can you do to a bathroom mirror to stop it from fogging up during a hot shower?

1. Go to your work bench and get your toolbox/belt

2. Choose Philips/Flat head screw driver, pry bar or ball peen hammer

3. Apply one of the above to the mirror (Be sure to wear safety goggles)

4. Take shower

Take a cold shower , it would probably do you good!

Light a Candle and put it in front of the mirror. This usually works

Buy the stuff they make to stop it from fogging up. I can't think of any of the names but I've had several products that do it. One was a pink gel (like shortening gel not a liquid gell). It had all kinds of cleaning used including keeping the mirror from fogging up. The last product I used was a spray bottle, good for mirrors and glasses. Check at an opthomologist or the vision department of Wallyworld, Cosco, etc.

The products I've had did not work for long periods of time. They had to be reapplied every few days, but they did work.

..come to think of it, I'll be they also have some type of product at Bed Bath and Beyond or Linen's and Things.

Another question, How do you keep the grime on your grill to a minimum and are there any easy cleaning products that help you just wipe it away? We have a propane grill. Am I making this a cleaning tips thread? LOL

let it get hot and use a brass grill brush to knock off the loosened stuff

Why do you need to look at yourself while you're in a hot shower??

Sort of real answers: Open a window, put on a fan, shave AFTER your shower.
